A Caribbean bi-level eatery and everyday establishment. With each floor offering it's own unique vibe, with the restaurant on the main level serving warm and cozy and the lounge on the 2nd floor serving flashy and vibrant, creating the perfect environment for the best of both worlds.

FLAVA LIFE

What started out as a family-inspired restaurant and transformed into the vibe of the Bronx. In a time of despair and hope, our survival and the end of the Covid-19 pandemic catapulted a trend to be outside again. Phrases like "we outside," "it's lit", and "it's a vibe" described the scenery of eateries everywhere. Flava of the Bronx understands this assignment and has stepped up to the plate to provide you with hospitality essentials of food, fun, and vibes.

HEY MISTER DJ: With a DJ every night, the house DJs are the Beethoven of Flava's vibe. With their eclectic and genre-hopping style, no one can resist the obsession with their music. Whatever your nationality, you will feel the music in your heart and the beat in your feet.

ESTABLISHMENT POLICIES

  • Valid physical ID required

  • 21 and over to enter lounge

  • 21 to drink in a restaurant

  • No revolving entrance/120 mins seating time enforced discretionarily

  • No vapes or electric cigarettes allowed

  • No outside food or beverages

  • No pets allowed (service dogs allowed with valid paperwork)

  • Coat check available ($5 fee); oversized bags and umbrellas must be checked in

SECURITY

FOB is a safe, welcoming, and sociable environment for everyone. Although we don't provide formal security every day, special events and occasions warrant licensed guards. We are directly across from the 42nd police station and have coordinated effective response times with officials if needed. We believe that everyone should be treated with respect and consideration and will not tolerate inappropriate behavior in our establishment. FOB management reserves the right to admit guests at their discretion to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
Our policies are in place to ensure all customers have equal opportunity to enjoy themselves. No exceptions to our establishment policies.
Entrance subject to security & hostess' discretion. Flava of the Bronx reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

DRESSCODE

Proper attire is required. Although we are not a formal dining restaurant, FOB, however, enforces casual, elegant attire for restaurant dining and more cocktail attire for the lounge. Please be aware that FOB management has the right to refuse entrance to anyone.
WHAT TO AVOID: flip-flops/slides, beachwear, and athletic wear. Absolutely no durags, hoodies, bonnets, fishnets, or bedtime scarves.

Come for the food, fun, and vibes, and bring cash and/or physical credit/debit cards because we DO NOT ACCEPT APPLE PAY OR GOOGLE PAY.
